Class Information:
Sivananda Yoga with Viecynt

Cost: $5 drop in

This 2 hour open level class is slower paced than many styles of yoga. The Sivananda class is a spiritual and meditative practice that incorporates the physical asana practice with breath control, called pranayama. This style of yoga is considered a “classical Hatha Yoga style.” Viecynt seeks to instruct a class helping students develop their ability to control and harmonize body, breath, and mind, becoming able to move beyond the everyday struggles in order to achieve a state of inner peace and harmony.

Instructor Information:

Viecynt Obidian instructs Sunday morning Sivananda at Malu. He is currently a student at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and hopes to incorporate his skills and knowledge of yoga into his training and professional career as an acupuncturist/herbalist.
